    BIO:

Dennis Zen is an actor and storyteller based in Los Angeles, originally from the Bay Area. A shy daydreamer as a child, he often entertained himself by mimicking cartoons, Jackie Chan movies, and Stephen Chow’s comedies. High school drama classes helped foster his passion for acting and gave him the confidence to overcome his shyness, setting the stage for a lifelong pursuit of performance.

Though Dennis first took a practical path, earning both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from San Jose State University and working as a system test engineer, his creative drive never faded. He later trained in the Meisner Technique at the Bay Area Acting Studio, where he found the confidence to fully embrace acting.

Since moving to LA, Dennis has worked on commercials, short films, and landed a co-star role on Fox’s Lethal Weapon. He has also written, directed, and produced comedic shorts with friends, blending his love of humor with storytelling. Currently, Dennis is completing post-production on his first dramatic short, marking an exciting new chapter in his artistic journey.

In addition to his on-camera work, Dennis is also a trained performance and motion capture (pcap/mocap) actor, expanding his craft into performance technologies that bring digital characters to life.

At heart, Dennis thrives on creating and sharing stories — whether comedic, dramatic, or somewhere in between — that connect with audiences and spark imagination.
