The Concept and Story World
The MASH-UP mockumentary series operates as a structured web show with active social media accounts. Audiences follow three distinct brand archetypes (fashionista/beauty consultant, goth-girl DIY rebel, and mindful life coach, as they navigate the chaotic landscape of fame built largely on algorithms and clicks.
In this Universe the fashionista Niecy-X is the central figure through which the audience follows as she attempts to regain public relevance. Along the way are her co-stars Mina and Miguel who aren’t too thrilled about some of her past actions on the original reality-TV series.
Transmedia Opportunity
Our transmedia approach blurs the line between fiction and reality in the same way our characters do in their quest for stardom. The goal is to turn viewers into active community participants and bridge the gap between the pilot episode and the potential for multi-platform unique media extensions (e-books, companion podcasts, teaser clips, games and puzzles) that advance the core story.
